I Shaik Mehmood aged 54 years started my business in 1989, with a small watch repair shop by name CITY TIMES on CMH Road, Indiranagar , Bangalore. My good work and honesty created confidence with my customers and they recommended others, I am in contact with watch collectors and per-owned watch and clock dealers, hence I got the opportunity to gain experience with expensive, complicated multi functional watches and clocks.

Slowly I dedicated myself only mechanical time units, I worked hard to come up with solutions to various problems that came in repairing watches with lots of patience and never give up attitude.

After 20years at CMH Road I joined Preveen Watch Co in the year 2000, my good work made this shop famous with lots of satisfied customers, when I was there an article “Ticking Back in Time” appeared in the times news paper. The Times of India, and also a 15 minuet programe on TV9 by the title “Gadiyara Santhe” which highlighted my work in that shop.

Then I shifted to Quriocity Shop on Kamaraj road many customers followed me to this new shop and again one more article about me and my work was published  in “The Hindu” news paper in the form of an article by title “The Time keeper on Kamaraj Road”. After working fpr 3 years I left Quriocity shop and opened my own watch and clock repair business.

I have started my own shop named Vintage Times on Jan 2017 at the earlier mentioned address, though my present shop is hardly a year old my experience is more than 25 years. I don’t want to take all my experience along with me hence I have trained a few youngsters who have interest in this trade who will take on in the future.

After shifting to mynew shop one more article by the title “The Lost Restorers” about me appeared in the “economic times”.
